The 2023 "Boots & Pearls" Gala, a night honoring our Veterans and our dear friend and long-time board member, Mr. Roger Camp will be held on Saturday, September 9th at the Bayou Music Center located in downtown Houston. With the help of numerous sponsors, amazing volunteers & loyal attendees, Grateful Americans Charity is able to provide resources that support programs aimed at ending Veteran homelessness and combating the invisible wounds of war for Veterans suffering with PTSD around the country.

ABOUT GRATEFUL AMERICANS CHARITY

Since we started in 2016, our Mission has been to increase awareness and raise resources for programs benefiting our combat Veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

We are proud that in just the past eight years, we have raised more than $2.3 million to benefit the PTSD Foundation of America & Camp Hope. We could not have achieved this without the support of our many donors and sponsors. We Thank You! However, our job is not complete.

Veterans today need your help more than ever. The PTSD Foundation of America (ptsdusa.org) and Camp Hope will be this year's beneficiary. This amazing organization serves Veterans and their families in a positive, healing environment. Nationally, there are 45 chapters and 200 warrior groups, with hundreds in attendance each week across the country.

The PTSD Foundation of America and Camp Hope provides much-needed resources and services for local Veterans and their families. Peer-to-peer and one-on-one support sessions are held with other combat Veterans. Family activities reinforce the importance of a strong family unit when managing PTSD.

Involvement with local charities, businesses and other Veteran organizations is key to assisting healing, and also educates the community on the invisible wounds of war. Camp Hope embraces our Veterans and their families as they seek the rewarding and fulfilling lives they so richly deserve.
